The new Swift retains its sporty silhouette while incorporating sharper LED daytime running lights, new alloy wheels, and a revamped lighting setup. Inside, the cabin gets a significant makeover with a redesigned dashboard featuring a prominent 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Under the hood, the 2024 Swift comes equipped with a new 1.2-liter Z series petrol engine, replacing the outgoing K series motor. This engine offers improved performance and fuel efficiency, and is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission (AMT).
Maruti Suzuki is offering the new Swift in five variants: LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. Prices start at an attractive ₹6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base LXi variant and go up to ₹9.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line ZXi+ variant.
The new Swift is packed with features for a comfortable and safe driving experience. These include wireless phone charging, a 360-degree parking camera (on higher variants), six airbags as standard, and cruise control.
With its refreshed design, improved performance, and competitive pricing, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to maintain its position as a leader in the Indian hatchback segment. The car is already generating significant interest among buyers, and Maruti Suzuki dealerships are likely to see a surge in bookings in the coming days.
